Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa: A Peaceful, Horse Racing-Inspired Escape Near Disney Springs
If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic Disney resort that offers spacious accommodations at a lower price point than many other Deluxe options, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a fantastic choice—especially for larger families or groups. This Deluxe Villa Resort combines Victorian-inspired charm with a serene lakeside setting, making it ideal for guests who want a relaxing, wellness-focused stay with room to spread out.
It’s one of the most underrated resorts on property in my opinion. It doesn’t have the flashiness of a monorail resort, but it does have peaceful walking trails, big rooms, and a location that’s hard to beat if you plan to spend time at Disney Springs.
The Vibe
Saratoga Springs is themed after the old-school horse racing retreat in upstate New York, but don’t let that throw you. It’s not stuffy. It’s calm, classic, and full of pretty little details—gazebos, fountains, pastel buildings, and big trees that make it feel more like a neighborhood than a hotel.
This is a resort where people slow down. You’ll see families riding bikes, couples having coffee on the balcony, and kids playing in the splash areas while parents sit nearby with a drink and breathe for a minute.

This is another one of Disney’s Disney Vacation Club resorts, so the rooms are built for comfort and space. If you’re traveling with a big group, want a kitchen, or just like the idea of spreading out instead of living out of a suitcase—it’s a great pick.

Transportation & Park Access
This resort is spread out, so heads up—you may be walking a little more than you would at a smaller resort. But there are multiple internal bus stops (so you don’t have to trek across the whole thing just to get to Magic Kingdom), and the best part: you can walk or boat to Disney Springs. That alone makes it worth it to me.
Saratoga Springs offers:
Disney Bus Transportation to all four parks, water parks, and Disney Springs.
Walking Path to Disney Springs.
Boat Transportation to and from Disney Springs.
This is an old map but still gives you a good understanding of where the resort is located.
Location
Saratoga Springs is located in the Disney Springs Resort Area, making it one of the best resorts for shopping, dining, and entertainment just steps from your room.
Cost & Value
Saratoga Springs is a more affordable option among the deluxe tier. Prices typically range from $350 to $800+ per night, depending on room type and season.
