Disney Skyliner Will Be Closed January 26–31, 2026

If you’re heading to Disney World in late January 2026 and dreaming of gliding through the sky in a colorful gondola, you’ll want to avoid January 26–31—the Disney Skyliner will be temporarily closed for refurbishment during that week.

The Skyliner connects EPCOT and Hollywood Studios with several resorts (like Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, and Riviera), and it’s honestly one of my favorite ways to get around. It’s fast, it’s fun, and the views are just so good.

But during this closure, you’ll need to plan for alternate transportation—buses will be available, but the vibe is definitely different.

If riding the Skyliner is high on your list (especially if you have kids who would love it), I’d recommend shifting your trip a little to avoid that last week of January.

Need more details on how the Skyliner works and which resorts it connects? You can real all about it in my Complete Guide to the Disney Skyliner.

Let me know if you need help tweaking your dates or finding a great resort that works with your plans—I’m always happy to help make the planning part easier. Let’s start planning your trip today.
