Booking Onboard Activities On Your Disney Cruise

You will be booking your own reservations in your Disney Cruise app!

When and How to Book Activities on Your Disney Cruise

Quick Booking Checklist for Before Your Window Opens:

  • Confirm your Castaway Club status and booking date

  • Download and log into the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app

  • Decide which experiences matter most to your family

  • Budget for extras like dining, spa treatments and excursions

First Things First: Your Balance Must Be Paid in Full

Before your booking window will unlock, your cruise must be paid in full. Even if your Castaway Club status gives you an early booking date, the system won’t allow reservations until your balance is zero.

If you’re close to your booking window and unsure about your payment status, now is the time to double‑check.

When Do Booking Windows Open?

All booking windows open at 12:00 am Eastern Time on your assigned date. You can find your specific date in your confirmation email.

Your specific date depends on your Castaway Club status:

  • First‑time cruisers: 75 days before sailing

  • Silver: 90 days

  • Gold: 105 days

  • Platinum: 120 days

  • Pearl & Concierge: 123 days

The highest Castaway Club level in your stateroom determines the booking window for everyone in that room.

Booking Options:

A few important things to know before booking day arrives:

  • Your cruise must be paid in full before your booking window unlocks. Even if your window opens earlier based on Castaway Club status, unpaid balances will block reservations.

  • If multiple guests share a stateroom, the highest Castaway Club level in that room determines the booking window for everyone.

  • Once your window opens, reservations can be made online through your Disney Cruise Line account or directly in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.

  • Booking windows open at midnight Eastern Time, and the most popular experiences can disappear quickly. I recommend being logged in and ready on both your phone and computer so you can move quickly.

  • Booking early gives you more flexibility with timing, helps you plan around naps, sea days and dinner rotations, and allows you to board the ship feeling prepared instead of overwhelmed.

What If You Can’t Get What You Want?

If something you want is sold out, do not panic. Cancellations happen often, and Disney typically holds some availability for onboard booking.

Once onboard, you can check with Guest Services or the specific venue to ask about waitlists or openings. While nothing is guaranteed, flexibility can pay off.

And if something never opens up, it is worth remembering that there is no shortage of entertainment, food and experiences included in your cruise fare.
