One of the perks of booking your Disney Cruise Line vacation with Travel Grown is onboard credit. This is extra spending money that is applied directly to your shipboard account and can be used throughout your cruise.

There is no catch. Our planning services are completely free to you, and this onboard credit is our way of saying thank you for booking with us.

    Onboard credit, sometimes called shipboard credit, is credit that lives on your onboard account during your cruise. It works like cash that you can use to pay for eligible purchases made through Disney Cruise Line while you are sailing.

    The credit is applied to your stateroom account before your cruise, and any eligible charges you make onboard will be deducted from that balance.

  • Your onboard credit can be used for most things that can be charged to your stateroom, including:

    • Disney Cruise Line shore excursions

    • Palo and other adult-only dining experiences

    • Spa treatments onboard or at Castaway Cay

    • Wine packages and specialty drinks

    • Internet packages

    • Gift shop and souvenir purchases

    • Photos and photo packages

    • Gratuities and onboard activities

    Onboard credit cannot be used for purchases made independently in port or for non-Disney-arranged excursions.

  • If you recently booked, your cruise may be eligible for transfer. If transferred to Travel Grown, you will receive a smaller amount of onboard credit.

How Much Onboard Credit Will I Receive?

The amount of onboard credit you receive depends on two things:

  1. The total cost of your cruise

  2. How the cruise was booked

If your Disney Cruise is booked directly through Travel Grown, you will receive the full onboard credit amount for your cruise cost.

If you booked your cruise yourself and then transferred it to Travel Grown, or if you booked it onboard a ship as a placeholder, the onboard credit amount is typically about half of what you would receive if we had booked it for you from the start.

  • Your onboard credit is applied to your stateroom account approximately one week before sailing. You will see it reflected once you are onboard and able to review your folio.

  • Onboard credit cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be transferred to a future cruise. Any unused onboard credit at the end of your sailing is forfeited, so I always recommend planning to use it up before disembarkation.

    • Taxes, port fees, gratuities, insurance, airfare, hotels, and transfers are not included in the calculation

    • One onboard credit applies per reservation and per stateroom

    • If your cruise price changes before sailing, your onboard credit may be adjusted

    • If your cruise is canceled, the onboard credit is void

    • Onboard credit is not guaranteed for bookings made within 72 hours of sailing

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Onboard Credits are courtesy of Travel Grown LLC. The overall cost of a Disney cruise is based on voyage fare only and does not include taxes, gratuities, port expenses, government fees, insurance, airfare, hotel stays, transfers, shore excursions, or Adventure by Disney Add-ons. Onboard credit rewards are listed in US Dollars. Offer is valid on qualifying new Disney Cruises booked now through 12/31/26. Sail date must occur by 12/31/27. To be eligible for the promotion, guests must request this offer prior to making a deposit on a Disney cruise. Travel Grown grants one onboard credit per reservation and it cannot be combined for multiple reservations. If a reservation is modified before or after the final payment and the price of a cruise is adjusted, the onboard credit amount will be adjusted accordingly. If a cruise is canceled, the onboard credit is deemed null and void. Unused onboard credit is not redeemable for a refund, credit, or cash. Onboard credit is subject to all Disney Cruise rules and regulations, which can change at any time without notice. Onboard credit cannot be used for non-Disney arranged shore excursions or purchases made while in port.
