Best Quick Service Dining at Universal Orlando

Eating well at a theme park doesn’t have to mean waiting for a table or paying for fine dining. Universal Orlando’s quick service restaurants offer some of the best meals in the parks, from classic burgers and pizza to British pub fare and Mediterranean favorites. Here are our top picks across Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe and CityWalk.

Universal Studios Florida

The Leaky Cauldron

In Diagon Alley, the theming makes you feel completely immersed in Harry’s world, and the food fits perfectly.

Louie’s Italian Restaurant

Here you can order pizza by the slice or get a whole pie to share. If you’re not in the mood for pizza, there’s also spaghetti, meatball subs, and salads.

Today Cafe

Need breakfast at Universal Studios? The Today Cafe is my go-to. It’s bright, charming, and inspired by the NBC morning show. It’s perfect for breakfast, coffee, or a light lunch.

Mel’s Drive-In

Step back into the 1950s at Mel’s Drive-In, complete with neon lights, vintage cars, and a classic diner menu. You’ll find burgers, chicken sandwiches, and shakes — everything you’d expect from an old-school drive-in.

Islands of Adventure

Croissant Moon Bakery

Located near the front of the park, Croissant Moon Bakery is an ideal breakfast stop. You can grab a fruit cup, muffin, or Danish with your morning coffee before the rides start calling your name.

Doc Sugrue’s Desert Kebab House

This is one of my favorite quick service stops in all of Universal Orlando. The Mediterranean-inspired menu is unique, affordable, and consistently good. You’ll find kebabs, Greek salad, hummus, and churros, and the line here is usually much shorter than at other locations.

The Three Broomsticks

Over in Hogsmeade, The Three Broomsticks is another must-do for Harry Potter fans. You can enjoy a traditional English breakfast or lunch favorites like Fish and Chips, Shepherd’s Pie, or The Great Feast (a shareable platter that lives up to its name).

Thunder Falls Terrace

If you need a break from the usual burgers and fries, Thunder Falls Terrace is a great option. The menu includes ribs, rotisserie chicken, turkey legs, and rice bowls, all served in a cool, shaded dining area. It’s one of the best spots to relax at Islands of Adventure.

Green Eggs and Ham Café

Don’t skip this one just because of the name. Green Eggs and Ham Café serves tater tot bowls with all kinds of toppings, from buffalo chicken to the classic green eggs and ham. It’s fun, quick, and a great way to mix up your park food routine.

Universal CityWalk

Red Oven Pizza Bakery

Red Oven Pizza Bakery is a step above typical theme park fare. You’ll order at the counter, take a seat, and your freshly baked pizza will be delivered to your table. The wood-fired crust and high-quality ingredients make this one of the best quick service options in CityWalk.

Hot Dog Hall of Fame

For a casual meal outside the parks, head to CityWalk and grab a bite at Hot Dog Hall of Fame. Each hot dog is themed after a different baseball stadium, and the toppings are next-level. It’s quick, fun, and easy for families.

Epic Universe

Super Nintendo World: Toadstool Café

Even if you don’t plan to eat here, walking through Toadstool Café is worth it just for the theming. The atmosphere is bright, playful, and straight out of the Mushroom Kingdom, complete with windows showing animated scenes and Chef Toad hard at work.

Menu highlights include the Mario Burger (complete with a tiny red hat) and Bowser’s Fireball Challenge, a one-pound meatball.

Dark Universe: Das Stakehaus

A gothic inn built over ancient catacombs and run by vampires’ “familiars.” The theming here is incredible, with rich details and moody lighting that fit perfectly within the land.

You can choose from options like fish, chicken, or meatloaf served on actual stakes.

Celestial Park: Pizza Moon

Our favorite quick service spot in Epic Universe was Pizza Moon. Themed as an early 1900s-style pizzeria, it serves some of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in a theme park.

If you would rather experience a longer meal at a restaurant, consider booking a reservation at one of these sit down spots that require reservations.
