Capturing Your Disney Cruise Memories: Photo Packages

One of the best ways to preserve the magic of your Disney Cruise is with a Photo Package. It’s the easiest way to get professional-quality photos of your whole family enjoying your time together, without worrying about missing anyone in the frame.

With the Disney Cruise Photo Package, you can expect shots like:

  • A photo with Mickey himself greeting you at most port terminals

  • A group embarkation photo as you get ready to board the ship

  • Pictures with Disney Characters you meet onboard

  • Shots with enchanting backgrounds that make the memories even more magical

  • Occasional photos with the Captain

  • Family photos during dinner times

  • Special cruise-specific magic shots

The best part is you get to be present in the photos instead of trying to juggle the camera or phone. At the end of your cruise, all of your images are delivered in a digital file so you can print your favorites, create a photo book, or just enjoy the memories at home.

Booking Your Disney Cruise Photo Package

You can add or remove a Photo Package up to three days before your cruise. Booking early is always a good idea because you’ll get the best price. While you can purchase a package onboard, it is more expensive than booking ahead of time.

If you add a Photo Package before sailing and later decide it’s not for you, you can remove it while onboard. Just visit Shutters Photography Studio or Guest Services and request the change.

Booking a Photo Package ahead of time ensures professional shots of your family and guarantees you won’t miss capturing the moments that matter most.

Viewing and Downloading Photos Onboard

As photos are taken, you can view them at the Shutters Photography Shop kiosks. I recommend checking your photos a few times during your cruise to make sure everything you want has been captured. All ships have an onboard download option that allows you to access your photos throughout the cruise.

A quick note: once any photo is downloaded, the purchase cannot be canceled.

Post-Cruise Photo Access

Select guests sailing with Disney Cruise Line can now view, download, and purchase photos from their cruise following debarkation. For United States residents, photos will be available for 45 days from the day they were taken, and guests can view and purchase individual photos or packages on the Disney Cruise Line Photos website.

This post-cruise option is only available for sailings that concluded on or after January 21, 2026. Sailings that ended before this date will not have post-cruise photo access. Guests living outside the United States must still purchase their photos pre-cruise or while onboard.

Booking a Disney Cruise Photo Package is the easiest way to make sure your memories are captured beautifully and preserved for years to come. You get to relax, enjoy the moments, and take home professional photos of your family’s magical vacation.
