Disney World Bounceback Offers: What You Need to Know

Disney has released the 2027 Future Stay Offers, still better known as Bouncebacks. Once you leave Disney World, you're probably already dreaming about your next trip, and this is one of the easiest, most reliable ways to lock in a discount for it.

Here's the catch, and it's a big one: these offers are only available to guests who are currently staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, and you have up to 7 days after checkout to book. Miss that window and the deal is gone.

A couple of date notes: Disney originally listed the January window incorrectly, and the corrected dates are the ones above (January 11 to 14 and January 18 to 28). And November and December 2027 dates haven't been released yet. That's not because those months are excluded, it's just that Disney hasn't opened up bookings that far out. Expect those dates to drop sometime between mid-October and early December of this year. Until then, a placeholder is the way to go (more on that below).

The Fine Print

  • Length of stay: minimum 1 night, maximum 14 nights.

  • Savings are based on the non-discounted price for the same room.

  • Rooms are limited. Disney only allocates a set number of rooms to this offer, so a bounceback can be "sold out" even when the resort itself still has availability. The more popular the resort, the busier the dates, or the rarer the room type, the harder it can be to snag.

  • Deposit: just $200 to book. You don't pay in full right away.

  • Flexible: you can modify or cancel without penalty up to 30 days before arrival.

  • Extra adults: additional per-adult charges may apply if you have more than 2 adults per room at Value, Moderate, and Deluxe Resorts, and in studios at Deluxe Villa Resorts.

  • Advance reservations required, and the offer is nontransferable and only available at select resorts.

  • Combining offers: bouncebacks can't be combined with most other discounts. They can be combined with the kids (ages 3 to 9) free dining plan offer for eligible 2026 packages, but note that kids free dining is not returning in 2027. Because it's a room-only discount, you can still stack it with standalone ticket deals.

  • Excluded room types: campsites, 3-bedroom villas, the Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Bungalows and Island Tower rooms at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, and suites at all Moderate and Deluxe Resort hotels.

Book a Placeholder for Flexibility

Not sure exactly when you'll be back? You don't have to be. Book any eligible date now as a placeholder, then shift it later as your plans firm up (as long as your new dates are part of the offer and there's availability). This is especially handy for late 2027, before those November and December dates are even released.

Two nice bonuses: each adult on your current reservation can book a future stay, so one trip this year can turn into several discounted trips next year. And your current resort has zero bearing on where you book for the future. You could stay one night at an All Star this trip and book a week at the Grand Floridian for 2027.

How to Book

Just tell me before your trip (or right after) that you want to book a bounceback, and I'll take care of the whole thing. No calling Disney from your hotel room on vacation, and no stressing about the 7-day clock. I’ll get availability and pricing and send you an invoice to lock in the $200 deposit.

Are Bouncebacks Still the Best Deal?

Most of the time, yes. A bounceback is the most reliable way to lock in savings, because you're grabbing a discount for your travel dates and resort right now, instead of waiting and hoping a future offer covers them.

Every once in a while a later special offer beats it, especially in summer, when Disney has gotten aggressive with discounts the last couple of years. But those deals tend to be more limited on resorts, room types, and availability. My advice: book the bounceback as a safety net, and I’ll keep an eye out. If something better comes along, we can switch you to it. You can always apply a better discount later. You can't go back in time and grab a deal you skipped.

The Most Important Thing to Remember

You have 7 days after checkout. That's the whole window. If you're returning to Disney World in 2027, or even just thinking about it, reach out to me before or right after your trip and I'll get a placeholder in the system for you. It's a no-brainer! You lock in the savings and the peace of mind now, and you can always adjust or cancel later.
