Theming & Atmosphere

Art of Animation Resort is a dream come true for Disney animation lovers. The resort is divided into four sections themed after beloved Disney and Pixar films: The Lion KingFinding NemoCars, and The Little Mermaid. Larger-than-life characters, colorful details, and immersive storytelling elements bring these films to life throughout the resort, making it a favorite among families and Disney fans alike.

Room Options & Accommodations

Art of Animation Resort offers both Family Suites and Standard Rooms, designed to accommodate a variety of guest needs.

  • Family Suites sleep up to six guests and are available in CarsFinding Nemo, and The Lion King sections. These suites feature a separate bedroom, two bathrooms, a living area with a pull-out sofa, and a kitchenette for added convenience.

  • Standard Rooms are located in The Little Mermaid section and sleep up to four guests (plus one child under three in a crib). These rooms are similar in size to other Value Resort standard rooms.

While Standard Rooms are more budget-friendly, Family Suites provide additional space and comfort, making them a great option for larger families.

Pro Tip: If you're traveling with young kids or multiple family members, the Family Suites are a great investment for extra space and convenience. The Finding Nemo section is closest to the main lobby and Skyliner, making it the most desirable.

Family Suites – Finding Nemo offers the best location, followed by Cars and The Lion King. Check out these video walkthroughs of each!

The Little Mermaid rooms are the standard room option, but keep in mind they require a longer walk to the lobby and transportation. Here’s a room review, along with a video of my walk from a Little Mermaid room to the lobby—it took me about 7 minutes at a brisk pace.

Room Amenities:

  • Beverage Cooler – Similar in size to a mini-fridge but without a freezer compartment.
