All Star Music Resort

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly way to experience the magic of Disney World, All-Star Music Resort is a fantastic option. As a Value Resort, it offers immersive Disney theming, family-friendly accommodations, and all the perks of staying on property—without the high price tag. Whether you’re a music lover, traveling with kids, or simply seeking an affordable place to stay, this resort has plenty to offer.

Theming & Atmosphere

All-Star Music Resort celebrates the universal love of music with sections dedicated to different genres, including Rock, Jazz, Broadway, Calypso, and Country. Larger-than-life musical instruments, from massive guitars to towering drum sets, decorate the resort, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere. The resort’s colorful design and playful details make it a favorite among families and music fans alike.

Room Options & Accommodations

All-Star Sports Resort offers Standard and Preferred Rooms, as well as Family Suites, making it a great option for larger groups.

  • Standard Rooms come with either one King-size bed or one Queen bed plus a Queen-size Murphy bed. While you can request a King bed, it’s not guaranteed.

  • Preferred Rooms guarantee a spot near the Melody Hall, food court, and transportation. These rooms are located in the Calypso and Jazz sections.

  • Family Suites sleep up to 6 guests. Includes a separate bedroom with a Queen bed, plus two pull-down Murphy beds in the living area. Features two bathrooms and a kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker, and beverage cooler

Pro Tip:  If you’re traveling with a larger family, the Family Suites are one of the best values on Disney property. They provide extra space and amenities while still keeping costs lower than booking two separate rooms at another resort.

Recreation & Amenities

Despite being a Value Resort, All-Star Music offers plenty of fun activities for guests of all ages:

🎺 Calypso Pool – The main pool, shaped like a guitar with a fountain featuring the Three Caballeros.

🎷 Piano Pool – A quieter, piano-shaped pool located at the back of the resort.

🎮 Note’able Games Arcade – A mix of classic and modern video games.

🎥 Movies Under the Stars – Nightly outdoor Disney film screenings.

🏃 Jogging Trails – A scenic path around the resort.

Transportation & Park Access

Guests at All-Star Music Resort use Disney’s complimentary bus service to reach all four theme parks, Disney Springs, and other Disney destinations. Buses sometimes share routes with All-Star Movies and All-Star Sports Resorts, which can lead to longer wait times during peak hours.

There is no Skyliner or Monorail access, so if you’re looking for a resort with more transportation options, Pop Century, Art of Animation or a Moderate or Deluxe Resort may be a better fit.

Disney transportation to the parks starts running about 45 minutes to an hour before the official park opening. If you want to take advantage of Early Entry for resort guests, I’d recommend getting to the bus stop about an hour before early admission begins. If you’re planning for a more laid-back morning, arriving at the bus stop 30–45 minutes before you want to be in the park should work just fine.

Exact travel times can vary, but here’s a general idea of how long the ride takes once you’re on the bus:

Magic Kingdom: ~18 minutes

EPCOT: ~18 minutes

Hollywood Studios: ~15 minutes

Animal Kingdom: ~15 minutes

These times don’t include waiting for the bus, boarding, or unloading, so always plan for a little extra time. Disney officially suggests allowing 1.5–2 hours to get from one spot to another on property, but unless you’re visiting during peak times, that’s usually more time than you’ll actually need.

If you’re driving, All-Star Music offers free parking for resort guests.

Location

All-Star Sports Music is part of the larger All-Star Resort complex, located in the Animal Kingdom Resort Area. Thanks to Disney’s complimentary bus transportation, you’re just minutes from Animal Kingdom and have easy access to the other three parks, as well as Disney Springs for shopping and dining.

The entrance to the “Jazz Inn” section of Disney’s All-Star Music Resort features a large decorative arch with bold, red lettering spelling “JAZZ INN.”

Cost & Value

As a Value Resort, All-Star Music offers some of the most affordable on-property accommodations at Disney World. Prices typically range from $225 to $275 per night depending on the season and promotions. The Family Suites, which sleep up to 6 guests, generally range from $350 to $450 per night—making them a great deal compared to booking two standard rooms.
