Room Options & Accommodations

All-Star Movies Resort offers Standard and Preferred Rooms, both designed to comfortably sleep up to four guests (plus one child under three in a crib).

  • Standard Rooms  come with either one King-size bed or one Queen bed plus a Queen-size Murphy bed. While you can request a King bed, it’s not guaranteed.

  • Preferred Rooms guarantee a spot near the Cinema Hall Lobby, food court, and transportation. They’re located in buildings themed after Toy Story, Fantasia, and 101 Dalmatians (buildings 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, & 10), making them both convenient and fun.

  • While rooms are on the smaller side with 260 square feet, they provide everything needed for a comfortable stay while keeping costs low.

Preferred rooms are highly recommended for their closer proximity to the main lobby and bus transportation—saving you time and steps after long park days. Guests who book standard rooms often find themselves exhausted and frustrated by the extra walk, especially after a full day of Disney fun. Transportation & Park Access

Guests at All-Star Movies Resort rely on Disney’s complimentary bus service to reach all four theme parks, Disney Springs, and other Disney destinations. While buses are efficient, they are sometimes shared with the neighboring All-Star Music and All-Star Sports resorts, which can lead to longer wait times during peak hours.

There is no Skyliner or Monorail access, so if you’re looking for a resort with more transportation options, Pop Century, Art of Animation or a Moderate or Deluxe Resort may be a better fit.

Disney transportation to the parks starts running about 45 minutes to an hour before the official park opening. If you want to take advantage of Early Entry for resort guests, I’d recommend getting to the bus stop about an hour before early admission begins. If you’re planning for a more laid-back morning, arriving at the bus stop 30–45 minutes before you want to be in the park should work just fine.

Exact travel times can vary, but here’s a general idea of how long the ride takes once you’re on the bus:

Magic Kingdom: ~18 minutes

EPCOT: ~18 minutes

Hollywood Studios: ~15 minutes

Animal Kingdom: ~15 minutes

These times don’t include waiting for the bus, boarding, or unloading, so always plan for a little extra time. Disney officially suggests allowing 1.5–2 hours to get from one spot to another on property, but unless you’re visiting during peak times, that’s usually more time than you’ll actually need.

If you’re driving, All-Star Movies offers free parking, making it easy to access both your car and resort amenities throughout your stay. It’s just one more way this resort helps keep your Disney trip budget-friendly while still offering convenience.
