Meet Emily.
I started working as a travel agent in March of 2019. I have always been interested in travel and have travelled internationally several times, as well as visiting both Disney and Universal regularly since childhood! Now, I have the privilege and joy to travel with my own two children. Seeing them experience the magic of Disney for the first time was a “Top 5” experience in my life.
I have always believed that travel is for everyone and enriches your soul. Meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and strengthening my bond with family and friends are why I travel as often as I do (which is as often as I can!). Whether I’m watching my husband cast his first spell in Diagon Alley or getting directions in Italian from a stranger in Rome, I find a unique joy through travel that cannot be manufactured or found in things. As regular Disney-goers, my children have been able to “see the world” in Epcot and use those first encounters with foreign cultures as building blocks for when we actually go to Mexico, Japan, and France. Beyond the parks, we are stocking up on snacks for road trips across America and making plans to go farther abroad, as well!
As a travel professional, I now use my own adventures to create strong, detailed itineraries for my clients.
I have a Bachelor in Arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in French and in 2013 I earned my Master’s degree from the same school, this time in Curriculum and Instruction. I have worked in many fields which have each taught me important skills that I use today. I have managed retail stores, worked as an event and wedding coordinator, and taught French for many years. I consider my biggest strengths to be my organized and detail oriented approach, my commitment to cultural awareness and education, and my love for children and making their travel experiences last a lifetime.
