All About the Dining Plans
Say “Yes” to Disney Dining Plans
One of the best perks of a Disney World Dining Plan? You get to be the ultimate “yes” person.
Picture this: your kids ask for ice cream, a fancy meal, or an extra snack, and you can simply say, “Yes!” No mental math, no budgeting stress—just pure Disney magic. Dining plans let you feel like a “Yes-Mom” or “Yes-Dad” without worrying about the running tab. Plus, they’re only available to Disney resort guests, adding an all-inclusive feel to your stay.
Why Choose a Disney Dining Plan?
The dining plan is an optional add-on that covers meals and snacks across Disney parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. You prepay for the plan with your Disney reservation, making it easy to let go of daily budget worries and focus on fun. Depending on your preferences, a dining plan might save you money, though savings depend on your dining habits.
Most restaurants are included, though a few, like Space 220, are not.
Here is a list of all restaurants that are included in the Dining Plan.

How It Works
How Do You Use Dining Credits?
Dining credits are linked to your My Disney Experience (MDE) account. Use credits by scanning your Magic Band, Magic Mobile, or Key to the World Card when ordering. Credits roll over daily but expire on your checkout day.
What’s Included in Each Meal
Quick-Service Meals include an entrée and a beverage, alcoholic or nonalcoholic for guests 21+.
Table-Service Meals vary by meal and may include an entrée and dessert or even a buffet option.
Snacks are perfect for smaller treats, like a Mickey ice cream bar, fresh fruit, popcorn, or a smoothie.
How Much Does It Cost?
Disney doesn’t list dining plan prices, but here’s an idea of what to expect:
Quick Service Dining Plan:
$57.01 per adult (age 10+) per night
$23.83 per child (age 3–9) per night
Disney Dining Plan:
$94.28 per adult (age 10+) per night
$29.69 per child (age 3–9) per night

Pros and Cons of the Dining Plan
Cons
One Snack Per Day: Snack lovers, note that each guest gets only one snack credit per day.
Personal Dining Style: If you prefer lighter meals or drink mostly water, the dining plan may not be as budget-friendly.
Time Investment for Table-Service Meals: Dining plan reservations can take 60–90 minutes, so plan accordingly.
Too Much Food: Smaller appetites may find the meal credits to be more than they need.
Pros
Convenience: Prepaid dining makes it easy to go cash-free, adding an all-inclusive feel to your stay. It will make your trip feel more go with the flow.
All the Choices: With over 100 participating restaurants, everyone can find something they like. Plus, the plan covers dietary preferences, from vegan to gluten-free options.
Special Dining Experiences: The dining plan opens doors to character meals, dinner shows, and themed restaurants that make Disney magical.
Alcohol Included: Cheers! Guests 21+ get access to beer, wine, and cocktails as part of their meal credits.
