Disney & Family Travel Advisor

Meet Billy.

The rides matter. So does everything in between.

Billy is a husband and dad of three who started and runs a coffee roasting company, makes music, and has somehow become the person everyone asks when they're planning a trip.

He loves Disney history, great food and coffee, finding the right hotel, and all the strange little details you only notice when you know to look for them. He also loves doing the research before a trip so that once he's there, he can actually enjoy it.

Where It Started

Billy first visited Disneyland as a very young kid, but the Disney memory that really stuck with him came years later when he returned with his own family.

Walking through the turnstiles with his wife and kids and heading down Main Street toward the castle, he was completely overcome with joy. It's a feeling he'll never forget. As a family of lifelong Star Wars fans, they felt it all over again when they walked into Galaxy's Edge and saw the Millennium Falcon in front of them for the first time. There were a few tears.

Every Trip Tells a Story

That's a lot of what Disney is for Billy, stepping into the story together. The rides are a huge part of it, but so are the meals, the music, the characters, the photos, the anticipation and just getting to experience all of it together.

Billy is fascinated by Walt Disney and the history of the parks. He's watched more Disney documentaries, archival footage and park history videos than he'd probably care to admit. As someone who makes music and has built a business and brand of his own, he's especially drawn to the way Walt thought about storytelling, and how that storytelling eventually became a place people could actually walk into.

The Rhythm of a Day

That has shaped the way Billy thinks about Disney trips too. A day in the parks has a rhythm to it. There are things you've been looking forward to for months, things you stumble across by accident, traditions you come back to every time and moments you didn't know would matter until they happened.

Maybe that's finally riding the attraction your kid has been talking about for months. Maybe it's meeting a favorite character, stopping for a PhotoPass picture, having an incredible meal, seeing the castle for the first time or noticing a piece of Disney history that's been hiding in plain sight.

It's all part of the trip.

Planning Your Trip

Billy has always loved planning trips. He is excited to research restaurants, resorts and transportation. Overall he is looking for the best way to spend a vacation day together. Becoming a travel advisor made sense because he was already spending an unreasonable amount of time doing this anyway.

He's especially familiar with experiencing Disney with tweens, teens and young adults because that's the season his own family has been in, but he enjoys helping families of all ages. Little kids, grown kids, first trips, return trips, ride heavy days, character meet and greets, great meals, slow mornings, rope drop to close, and special ticketed events. He wants to know what your family is excited about and build the best trip from there.

His approach is pretty simple, do the homework ahead of time and make a plan that still leaves room for the trip to unfold.

He'll help with the big decisions and the small ones, and he'll probably throw in a few side quests too! A seasonal snack worth trying, a piece of Disney history to look for, a great place for a family photo or something cool you might have walked right past. Because when the trip is over, you never really know which part is going to become the story your family keeps telling.

And if there's a really good cold brew somewhere along the way, Billy probably knows where to find it.
