Disney & Family Travel Advisor

Meet Amanda.

Less time stressing, more time making memories.

Travel has always been a big part of Amanda's life. Growing up, she traveled out west, visited family across the country, and spent plenty of time enjoying the slower pace of beach destinations like Navarre, Florida. Her love of planning trips started early, when she planned detailed trips to New York and Nashville with her mom and grandparents at just 17. She quickly realized that she didn't just love taking a trip, she loved figuring out all the little details that made the trip special.

Chasing National Parks

Her love of adventure really took off after high school, when she and her older brother packed up a truck and headed west without much of a plan. That trip introduced her to several National Parks and started a lifelong goal of visiting them all. Grand Teton and Arches are currently tied for her favorites, but she's always dreaming about the next one.

A Love of Its Own

Disney became a love of its own over the years. What started with a somewhat forgettable first visit at 18 has turned into multiple Walt Disney World trips every year, an annual pass, runDisney races, and countless memories with her twin daughters. Amanda especially loves the Disney festivals, trying and rating the food, the ambient music throughout the parks, and that feeling of walking through the gates and feeling like the rest of the world disappears. And she will always take a moment to enjoy the vanilla scent on Main Street, U.S.A.

Traveling With Little Ones

Now a mom to four-year-old twin girls who are spunky, sassy, and full of personality, Amanda understands that traveling with little ones can feel like a lot. She also knows that a family vacation doesn't need to be rushed or packed from morning to night. Her own travel style is laid-back and flexible. She likes having a plan and knowing what to expect, but she wants plenty of time to slow down, enjoy a great meal, take a break, and actually experience the destination.

Beyond Disney

Amanda's love of travel goes well beyond Disney. She's an avid cruiser who loves waking up somewhere new and experiencing the culture, scenery, and adventure of different destinations. Her Alaska cruise was a bucket-list trip, and she's already dreaming about returning. She's also enjoyed adventures ranging from ziplining in St. Thomas while dodging iguanas to having a monkey jump on her head in the Dominican Republic. When she's looking for a kid-free escape, she loves an adults-only all-inclusive where she can relax while still exploring the destination. Norway is currently calling her name next.

Off the Clock

Outside of travel, Amanda is a Director of Operations for an insurance consulting agency in Northwest Georgia, where she manages both an in-person team and a virtual assistant team. She also travels regularly for work, giving her even more opportunities to explore new cities, try new restaurants, and experience different types of travel.

Why I Became a Travel Advisor

Amanda became a travel advisor because she kept seeing people get overwhelmed by all the little decisions that come with planning a vacation. What should they eat? Where should they stay? How much should they try to fit into a day? When should they take a break with little ones? What small things can make a flight or park day easier?

Those are the details Amanda genuinely enjoys figuring out.

Her goal is to make the planning process feel easy and personal. She'll ask the questions, learn what matters most to you, and put together a clear plan you can look over together. You don't have to know exactly what you want before reaching out. Let Amanda help you figure it out, one question at a time.

Because the best vacation isn't necessarily the one where you do the most. It's the one where you have the chance to slow down, enjoy where you are, and make memories you'll want to relive long after you get home.
